About Guitar Center

Guitar Center is the world’s largest retailer of guitars, amplifiers, drums, keyboards, recording, live sound, DJ, and lighting equipment, with more than 260 stores across the U.S. In addition, the Music & Arts division operates more than 120 stores specializing in band & orchestral instruments for sale and rental, serving teachers, band directors, college professors, and students since 1952. With an unrivaled in-store experience and passionate commitment to making gear easy-to-buy, Guitar Center is all about enabling musicians and non-musicians alike to experience the almost indescribable joy that comes from playing an instrument. All we sell is the greatest feeling on earth.

Guitar Center previously had their IT department managing all of their MPS needs. Running the printing program was not a part of their core business functions. They wanted to outsource these responsibilities in order to relieve IT of that burden and put it into more professional hands.

After taking over two years to evaluate various companies, Guitar Center selected FlexPrint as their sole MPS service provider. All of their printing needs were handed off to FlexPrint and we were able to free up key members of their staff to focus on different tasks. By implementing a single source / national coverage model, all of their locations were supported seamlessly and efficiently.

Our services allowed Guitar Center to gain a broader understanding of their printing environment. By developing essential reports, we were able to provide key insights on business functions that were previously overlooked. Guitar Center can see exactly where they stand when it comes to their printing services at each of their locations. By analyzing the consumption rate at each location, they have been able to consolidate inefficiencies – saving time, money, and resources.
